Refund & Money-Back Guarantee Policy
Last updated: 7 August 2026
This Refund & Money-Back Guarantee Policy applies to eligible courses, digital products, Module Unlocks, coaching services, bookings, subscriptions, mentorships, programmes, and other purchases offered by Your Potential, operated by Ryan James Cropper, through ryancropper.com, the Your Potential Teachable school, or another checkout or booking page expressly authorised by Your Potential.
For purchases made on or after 7 August 2026, this policy replaces earlier refund and guarantee policies published by Your Potential.
Purchases made before this date will normally remain governed by the terms presented and accepted at the time of purchase.
Different products involve different forms of access, preparation, scheduling, personal support, and delivery. Refund eligibility therefore depends on the type of product or service purchased.
Any additional terms clearly displayed on the relevant sales page, application, checkout page, booking page, Module Unlock page, or written programme agreement form part of this policy.
Nothing in this policy limits any consumer right that cannot legally be excluded.
1. Self-Paced Online Courses
A self-paced online course is covered by the 30-day money-back guarantee only when that guarantee is clearly displayed on the relevant sales page or checkout page.
To qualify for a refund under the voluntary guarantee:
- The request must be submitted within 30 calendar days of the original purchase.
- Less than 50% of the course must have been accessed, viewed, completed, or downloaded.
- The course materials must not have been copied, shared, redistributed, recorded, republished, resold, or otherwise misused.
- The customer must not have previously refunded and repurchased the same course to regain access.
- The purchase must not have been made fraudulently or in violation of the Terms of Use.
Course activity may be assessed using records available through Teachable or the relevant course-delivery platform.
The guarantee is intended to give students a reasonable opportunity to determine whether the beginning of a course is suitable for them. It is not intended to provide access to a substantial portion of a course without payment.
A refund may be refused where available records show that 50% or more of the course has been accessed, substantial downloadable materials have been obtained, or there is evidence of account sharing, copying, repeated refund abuse, or other misuse.
Any broader refund right provided by Teachable, another payment platform, or applicable law remains unaffected.
2. Meaning and Scope of the 30-Day Guarantee
The 30-day money-back guarantee is a satisfaction guarantee intended to give students a reasonable opportunity to begin the course, experience the teaching approach, and decide whether the programme is right for them.
Your Potential stands behind the quality, structure, delivery, and support described for its courses. The methods and practices taught are designed to help students develop the skills, experiences, and areas of progress described on the relevant course or sales page.
Individual progress, experiences, and timelines will naturally vary. Factors such as participation, consistency of practice, prior experience, personal circumstances, interpretation, and application of the material may affect how and when a student progresses.
For that reason, unless a particular result or guarantee is expressly stated for a specific product or programme, the 30-day money-back guarantee should not be interpreted as an unconditional promise that every student will experience the same result or achieve a particular outcome within the same period of time.
This does not mean that Your Potential makes no commitment regarding the course. Your Potential will provide the course, materials, access, and included support substantially as described at the time of purchase and stands behind the teaching and structure provided.
Where a specific course or programme expressly includes an additional result, progress, support, or performance guarantee, the terms of that specific guarantee will apply alongside this policy.
A customer does not need to prove that a course failed to produce a particular result when making an otherwise eligible request under the 30-day satisfaction guarantee. All applicable time, access, and usage conditions must still be met.
3. Course Bundles and Included Bonuses
A bundle containing only self-paced courses will be covered by the 30-day guarantee only when the bundle is expressly advertised as including that guarantee.
Course activity will be assessed across the bundle as a whole rather than separately for every individual course.
Bonuses, guided meditations, audio recordings, documents, forums, community areas, and supporting resources included with a course will be treated as part of that course when assessing how much content has been accessed.
Bundles containing coaching, live sessions, personalised services, Module Unlocks, or standalone digital products may be subject to separate terms displayed before purchase. The standard course guarantee does not automatically apply to those additional components.
4. Standalone Digital Audio and Downloadable Products
Standalone digital products that provide immediate access to the complete material are generally non-refundable once access, streaming, or downloading has begun.
This includes:
- Standalone guided meditations and audio experiences.
- Downloadable recordings.
- Digital documents, guides, workbooks, or templates.
- Other immediately delivered digital products.
A replacement, correction, or refund may still be considered where:
- The customer was charged more than once for the same purchase.
- The wrong product was delivered.
- A technical defect prevents the product from functioning and a working replacement cannot be provided.
- The product was materially different from its description.
- A refund is required by applicable law.
A downloadable product included within an eligible course remains subject to that course’s guarantee and access conditions.
5. Private Coaching and One-to-One Sessions
Private sessions require preparation and reserved calendar availability.
Unless different terms were clearly disclosed before booking:
- A cancellation or rescheduling request made at least 72 hours before the scheduled starting time may qualify for a refund or rescheduling.
- A cancellation made less than 72 hours before the scheduled starting time is normally non-refundable.
- A late rescheduling request may be considered in exceptional circumstances, but approval is discretionary and subject to availability.
- A session booked less than 72 hours before its scheduled starting time is normally non-refundable once confirmed, unless Your Potential cancels or cannot provide it.
Refunds or replacement sessions are not normally provided for:
- Missed appointments or no-shows.
- Forgetting the appointment.
- Incorrectly converting the time zone.
- Late arrival.
- Deciding not to continue after the session has begun.
- Problems caused by the customer’s internet connection, device, microphone, camera, software, or inability to access the meeting platform.
- A session that has already been completed.
Customers are responsible for checking their equipment, internet connection, software, and meeting link before the scheduled starting time.
Arriving late does not guarantee that the session can be extended beyond its original ending time.
Where Ryan Cropper cancels a session and a suitable replacement time cannot be agreed, the customer may choose a full refund for the cancelled session.
6. Experimental and Complimentary Sessions
From time to time, Your Potential may offer sessions, demonstrations, trials, research sessions, or other experiences on a free, complimentary, or experimental basis.
Where a session is offered under one of these arrangements, the nature of the offer and any applicable conditions will be communicated at the time it is offered.
Because no purchase price is charged for a session provided entirely free of charge, there is no purchase price to refund.
An experimental, trial, research, or complimentary arrangement applies only to the specific session or offer identified as such at the time. It does not apply automatically to other services or to later versions of a service that may be offered separately.
7. Live Webinars, Classes and Group Events
Unless different terms are displayed on the event page, cancellation must be requested at least 72 hours before the scheduled event to qualify for a refund.
Refunds are not normally available where:
- The cancellation is made less than 72 hours before the event.
- The customer does not attend.
- The customer arrives late.
- The event has already begun.
- The complete event recording or supporting materials have already been provided.
Where a recording is advertised as part of the purchase, inability to attend live does not by itself create a right to a refund.
If Your Potential cancels a separately purchased event and does not provide a replacement date, recording, or reasonable equivalent, the customer will receive a refund.
8. Mentorships and Longer Programmes
Longer programmes, including the current 49-week Unbound Spirit Program, may involve reserved availability, personalised preparation, private support, scheduled sessions, Module Unlocks, and a fixed-term commitment.
The specific payment, cancellation, and refund terms displayed in the programme application, offer, checkout page, Module Unlock page, or written agreement will govern that enrolment.
The standard self-paced course guarantee does not apply to a mentorship or longer programme unless a 30-day guarantee is expressly included in its written offer.
Where a programme is purchased through instalments or a fixed payment plan, each payment forms part of the agreed total programme price. Stopping participation does not automatically cancel the customer’s remaining payment obligation.
A fixed payment plan is not the same as a cancel-anytime subscription unless the offer expressly describes it as one.
Missed or unused sessions included within a programme are not automatically refundable. Scheduled sessions remain subject to the 72-hour cancellation and rescheduling terms.
Legacy versions of Unbound Spirit, previous subscriptions, and earlier programme arrangements remain governed by the terms accepted at the time of their original purchase.
Current Module Unlock purchases are governed by the following section and any additional conditions clearly displayed before purchase.
9. Module Unlock Purchases
A Module Unlock provides access to a defined module, stage, or portion of the Unbound Spirit Program.
Depending on the applicable offer, a Module Unlock may include:
- Digital lessons and training materials.
- Coaching or teaching calls.
- Mentorship or private support.
- Practical exercises and assignments.
- Community or discussion access.
- Eligibility to progress into later modules.
- Other elements clearly described before purchase.
Unless broader terms are clearly offered before purchase, a Module Unlock may qualify for cancellation and refund only where all of the following conditions are met:
- The request is submitted within 48 hours of purchase.
- No coaching session, teaching call, mentorship service, or other personalised component connected to the module has begun or taken place.
- The module’s digital materials have not been accessed or downloaded beyond the introductory overview.
- The customer has not completed or substantially begun the module.
- The customer has not used the Module Unlock to progress into or purchase a later module.
- The materials have not been copied, shared, recorded, redistributed, or otherwise misused.
Once coaching, mentorship, a teaching call, or another personalised service connected to the module has begun, the Module Unlock is normally non-refundable.
Where substantial digital materials have already been accessed or downloaded, the Module Unlock is normally non-refundable because the purchased content has already been supplied.
If a $75 administrative reversal fee was clearly disclosed on the applicable sales page, checkout page, programme agreement, or Module Unlock offer before purchase, that fee may be deducted from an approved refund. An administrative fee that was not clearly disclosed before purchase will not be imposed solely because it appears in this policy.
Where a Module Unlock cancellation or refund is approved:
- Access to the relevant module may be removed.
- Access to included coaching, mentorship, calls, and community support may end.
- Progression into later modules may be reversed, suspended, or locked.
- Access to later modules that depended on the refunded purchase may also be removed.
- Any associated appointment may be cancelled.
- The customer may need to repurchase or complete the relevant module before progressing.
A Module Unlock does not receive the general 30-day self-paced course guarantee unless that guarantee is expressly stated on the applicable Module Unlock offer.
Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation right required by applicable law.
10. Subscriptions and Recurring Access
This section applies only to products expressly sold as subscriptions or cancel-anytime recurring access.
A subscription may be cancelled to prevent future renewals. Cancellation must be completed before the next scheduled billing date.
Cancelling a subscription:
- Does not normally refund the current billing period.
- Does not retroactively refund previous payments.
- Does not cancel a fixed-term payment plan.
- Does not automatically cancel a Module Unlock already purchased.
- May allow access to continue until the end of the period already paid for.
A refund may be considered for a duplicate renewal, incorrect charge, or another verified billing error.
Where available, subscription cancellations should be completed through the customer’s Teachable billing dashboard or relevant payment-management portal.
11. Payment Plans, Klarna and Afterpay
Refund eligibility does not change merely because a customer used Klarna, Afterpay, another Buy Now, Pay Later service, a debit or credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, or another payment method offered at checkout.
A purchase made through Klarna or Afterpay is treated as a one-time product purchase for the purposes of the applicable course, programme, or Module Unlock terms. It is not treated as an internal subscription with Your Potential.
Where a qualifying refund is approved:
- The refund will be returned through the original payment method.
- The payment provider may adjust remaining instalments and amounts already collected according to its own procedures.
- The customer should continue following the provider’s payment instructions until the provider confirms that the repayment schedule has been changed or cancelled.
The availability of Klarna, Afterpay, or another pay-over-time option depends on the customer’s location, currency, account, and provider eligibility.
12. Coupons, Discounts and Price Changes
An approved refund will be based on the amount actually paid, not the product’s normal price before a coupon, promotion, credit, or discount was applied.
A later sale, coupon, price reduction, bundle, or promotional offer does not create a right to a partial refund or retroactive price adjustment.
Refunds are issued in the original transaction currency wherever supported.
Your Potential is not responsible for differences caused by exchange-rate movements, card-provider conversion rates, or charges imposed separately by a bank or payment provider.
13. Technical and Access Problems
Customers should report access or technical problems promptly so that a reasonable attempt can be made to resolve them.
A temporary login, browser, device, email-delivery, or platform issue does not automatically qualify for a refund where access can be restored or an alternative delivery method can reasonably be provided.
Where Your Potential is permanently unable to provide a purchased product or service through no fault of the customer, an appropriate replacement, account credit, partial refund, or full refund may be offered depending on what remains undelivered.
14. Effect of a Refund
When a full refund is approved:
- Access to the refunded course, Module Unlock, product, programme, bonuses, forum, community areas, and associated resources may be removed.
- Any related subscription or payment arrangement may be cancelled where supported by the payment platform.
- Programme or module progression connected to the refunded purchase may be reversed.
- The customer must stop using and must not retain, share, reproduce, teach, resell, or distribute the refunded materials.
- Any promotional credit, affiliate commission, or bonus connected to the refunded transaction may be reversed.
A partial refund may result in partial or complete removal of access depending on what the refund covers.
15. Payment Disputes and Chargebacks
Customers are encouraged to contact Your Potential before opening a payment dispute or chargeback so that the matter can first be reviewed directly.
Where a dispute or chargeback has already been opened, the payment platform may prevent a separate refund from being processed until the dispute is withdrawn or resolved.
Access to the disputed product, Module Unlock, programme, course, or service may be suspended while the dispute is active.
Fraudulent disputes, false claims, deliberate account sharing, or misuse of the refund process may result in permanent removal of access and refusal of future purchases where legally permitted.
16. How to Request a Refund
Refund requests should be submitted by email to:
Please include:
- Your full name.
- The email address used for the purchase.
- The course, Module Unlock, programme, product, or service purchased.
- The purchase date.
- The order or transaction number, where available.
- A brief explanation of the request.
A detailed explanation is not required for an otherwise eligible self-paced course-guarantee request. However, enough information must be provided to locate and review the purchase.
The date and time the request is received will be used to determine whether it was submitted within the applicable deadline.
Your Potential aims to respond within three business days.
17. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are returned through the original payment method.
The time required for a refund to appear is controlled by Teachable, the customer’s bank, Klarna, Afterpay, PayPal, or the relevant payment provider.
Card refunds commonly take approximately 5–10 business days to appear after processing.
A refund cannot normally be redirected to a different card, bank account, person, or payment method.
A refund may not automatically cancel a subscription, payment schedule, booking, enrolment, or programme progression. Where necessary, these actions may be completed separately after the refund is processed.
18. Statutory Consumer Rights
This policy provides voluntary and contractual rights in addition to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
Customers in some jurisdictions may have cooling-off, withdrawal, conformity, repair, replacement, or refund rights that cannot be removed or restricted by this policy.
For immediately supplied digital content, statutory withdrawal rights may depend on whether the customer expressly requested immediate access and acknowledged the applicable effect on their cancellation rights.
Where applicable law or an applicable payment-platform policy gives the customer broader rights than this policy, those rights will take priority.
19. Changes to This Policy
The policy and product-specific terms in effect on the date of purchase will normally apply to that purchase.
Your Potential may revise this policy to reflect changes in its products, Module Unlock structure, services, payment methods, platforms, business practices, or legal requirements.
A later policy change will not retroactively remove a refund right already granted to an earlier purchase.
